Android,
the open-source operating system is highly customizable. However, there is one
problem that always chooses to come with Android and that is battery
consumption.
However,
Android is about to get a new feature that will let users monitor their battery
drainage. There are several apps available in Google Play Store that also does
the same job like Greenify. However, Android is about to get a default feature
for battery monitor.
Google is about to roll out a
useful and awesome update for smartphones which are running on Android’s latest
Oreo. Android will get a new section in Battery settings which will show the
apps that consume extra battery life.
Apps that
are consuming extra battery life will appear on the notification panel along
with a red warning icon. Users will get the option to kill that app right from
the notification panel or can alter settings to make the abusive apps consume
less battery.
Android’s
new battery settings also show you which apps are the culprits and how to
manage permissions effectively to improve the battery life. However, the
feature is not available to all Android users, as we have already mentioned the
feature will roll out to the smartphones running on Android Oreo.
